Stay Golden

 

So the school year this year is going to look a little different. That is not to say that it won't be wonderful. Although I am not there yet physically, I am walking every step of the way with you. I am confident that you will do an amazing job. Don't ever let anyone steal your joy. You are there to do a job, and that job is to instill confidence, show compassion, and help students find their greatness. This is something that you are good at already. 

Thank you for caring for my Griff and looking out for him while I am away. This eases my momma heart. I know he will do great, but it is always reassuring to know that he has others looking out for him, Thank you for always treating my kids like your own. They love you, and it shows in the way they talk about you.

This is your year. You have taken on more responsibility as a student council sponsor, and the students are lucky to have you. Don't be afraid to try new things with them and push them further than they have been pushed before. This is the school's "Golden Anniversary" and our time to show our community what an amazing school, staff, and students attend Jersey Village High School.

When you feel overwhelmed or need someone to talk to always remember that you are stronger than your weakest moment, braver than you biggest fear, more confident than your greatest doubt, and loved beyond measure.  

Take this year to shine and make people take notice. I am beyond proud of you. You are more than enough. Stay golden!
